"Our snow pack, straddling a coastal climate to the west and a dry interior climate to the east, is some of the biggest in British Columbia."
We have great tree skiing! Some of our tree skiing runs, used mostly in case of poorer weather, are only a few minutes away from the lodge. The snow pack in our tenure is known for being significantly more stable than most, with generally low recorded avalanche hazards. This is direct result of our consistent and temperate climate, combined with reliable and plentiful snowfall. Please go to guiding and safety for more information on this topic.

We have a massive expanse of terrain and we stringently limit the number of skiers/boarders.
As storms roll in off the Pacific they dump their moisture load on the Coast Mountains, creating some of the deepest snow packs in the world then progressively dry out as they move east.
With an abundance of snow to the west and a sunnier, drier climate pushing in from the east we have found the ideal location for Bella Coola Heli Sports.
