Heliskiing Week At A Glance 2 | 1
A TYPICAL DAY
Your day begins at the historic Tweedsmuir Park Lodge with (you guessed it) “Swede” who will personally give you a wake up call for an early breakfast. During breakfast you will receive an update on the snow, weather conditions and the day's activities from our guides. It is now time to have fun; powder skiing and riding from as early in the morning to as long as there is daylight………let's go for it! Lunch is served in the mountains. This includes hot soups, gourmet sandwiches, baked goods as well as hot and cold drinks.
Upon returning to the lodge after a full day of skiing and riding many of our guests wander down to the river in front of the lodge for some great fly-fishing. Après ski hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served, and the hot tub, sauna and massage therapist will be available.
After some relaxation it's time for a 3-course dinner including a great selection of wines, your daily vertical / fly hours count, the next days weather and snow report. Oh yes…and a lot of laughs with the “Swede” and even some of our guests will be entertaining! After dinner you can relax by one of our fireplaces or play darts, pool or even foosball. Maybe you'll choose to watch a movie or just head off to your cabin for a good night's sleep.
DEPARTURE DAY
On your departure day you will ski and ride in the morning and then have a hot lunch at the airport. We ask that you have your traveling clothes ready to go, as you will change at the airport. Now it's time to say adios and goodbye or “until next time”……be prepared that this sometimes gets emotional. It is always sad to see our friends and family leave our Shangri-La in Bella Coola.
**Special Note: If you are a booked into the “Big Mountain Heliskiing tours” at the Brockton Guest House please contact us for information.
