Bella Coola Heli Sports was recently included in an article in the New York Times paper! On Sunday December 13, the article which focuses on big mountain skiing in remote locations for the average skier, included a chat with our own Beat Steiner about various technologies making skiing remote area's possible and heli skiing safer for the general public. Beat also discusses the technologies being incorporated into today's ski's and the result that these have on the skier riding them.

Joaquin Folch is interviewed on pushing the boundaries in Greenland and Russia and John Falkiner, a professional ski and mountain guide living in Verbier, Switzerland since the late 70's, discusses realizing that some of his clients wanted to join him on his wilder ski adventures. The article gives the reader a view into why this form of skiing is so addictive and spectacular.
